I started out as any other creative kid, drawing. At an age of 10-11 years I started to get into computers, as many other friends of mine began to do that as well. I just wouldn't play as many games as they would, instead, I'd do graphics and imagework on the computer. I had embraced the creative possibilities of a computer almost at the very instant I gained knowledge of them. This was my new hobby.
A few years later, I started playing around with the endless possibilities of 3D. I had for nearly as long as I can remember been greatly inspired by big animation houses. Just in my lifetime, the animation industry was having it's major main-stream breakthrough on the big screen. Beside animation, I was also inspired by the special effects of the movie industry, getting even more lifelike day by day.
I wanted to try doing some of that too, and started shooting homemade movies loaded with special effects of all kinds. This, together with my on-going progression with graphics and images on the computer, got me into what I do now.
So, here I am. Still learning and improving upon my skills every day.
I have recently begun doing commercial freelance work (I'm always open for new assignments if I have time!), mainly for small businesses. Here I don't just do 3D, but actually mostly 2D graphics and design of all kinds. I've designed things like web pages, logos, interfaces etc. It's a different approach to things than I'm used to, but I still find it very enjoyable. Hope to do more of this in the future.
